1. No Data Collection

FloatingActions is designed with privacy as a core principle. We do not collect, store, track, or transmit any of your personal information or browsing data. The extension does not have a server-side component, meaning all its operations occur locally on your computer.

2. How We Use Permissions

The permissions requested by FloatingActions are used solely to enable its functionality:

• Storage: Used to save your cloned buttons and panel settings (like size, position, and theme) directly in your browser's local storage. This data is stored on your computer and is never sent to us.
• ActiveTab, Scripting, Host Permissions: These are required to inject the extension's user interface (the floating panel or side panel) into the websites you visit and to allow you to select and clone buttons. This access is temporary and only used to provide the extension's features on the page you are actively using.

3. Your Data Belongs to You

All configurations, cloned buttons, and settings are managed through `chrome.storage.sync`. This means your data is either stored locally on your device or, if you are signed into Chrome, synced to your personal Google account. At no point do we have access to this data.

You have full control to manage or delete this data at any time using the "Clear" buttons within the extension's popup menu.

4. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy in the future. Any changes will be reflected in a new version of the extension, and we encourage you to review this policy periodically.
