Your privacy is important to us. This Privacy Policy explains how the FloatingActions Chrome extension handles your information.

1. Local Processing, No Remote Collection

FloatingActions has no account or server-side service. The extension processes page actions locally and does not send your saved actions, form values, page content, or browsing activity to us or to an external analytics service. Settings and actions are stored in your browser profile as described below.

2. Data Stored Locally

When you save an action, the extension may store its label, selector and target identity (such as tag, ID, name, role, classes, text, and nearby page context), along with selected form values, workflow steps, keyboard or mouse shortcuts, and panel preferences. This information is kept in chrome.storage.local and remains in your browser profile.

3. How We Use Permissions

The permissions requested by FloatingActions are used solely to enable its functionality:

• Storage: Used to save actions, target details, form states, recorded workflows, keyboard and mouse shortcuts, names, panel settings, and preferences in chrome.storage.local.
• Side Panel: Used to provide the native Chrome side panel interface.
• Tabs: Used to identify the active tab and exchange messages with its content script when you use the extension.
• Page access: The content script lets you select supported controls, detect when saved targets appear or change, and replay actions on pages where the extension has access. When target-based visibility is active, observation is limited to relevant changes and runs only while the floating panel is open; processing stays local.

4. Your Data Belongs to You

The extension does not synchronize this data to our servers or to an external account, and we do not have access to your local extension storage.

You have full control to export, import, or delete this data at any time using the controls within the extension's popup menu.

5. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy in the future. Any changes will be reflected in a new version of the extension, and we encourage you to review this policy periodically.
